Santa Cruz Islands, Vanuatu — February 6, 2013
The 2013 Santa Cruz Islands earthquake was the largest event in the region since 2007. It generated a damaging local tsunami that struck the southern coast of Santa Cruz (Ndende) Island. Infrastructure damage was severe in this remote region.
